A few weeks ago Jon was called to serve as the Ward Clerk for the University 1st Ward. I am lucky enough to tag along and enjoy getting to know these fine young men & women. They are headed to be the leaders of the church in the near future . . . that's a good thing. It is fun to get to associate with them. They often show more wisdom and good sense than many of my peers and I had. So refreshing!
It is also so fun to watch Jon. He does love serving down there! I'm not sure what goes through his mind, or if he is thinking. He usually doesn't over analyze anything, just sits back and enjoys the ride. Smart man.
It has also been fun to reconnect with some old friends. Mostly from girl's camp. It was amazing how much time has passed since those days, but que sera, sera. Now new memories can be made and enjoyed!

I loved reading your blog! You are such a great writer. I can just picture in my mind what you are experiencing because you describe events so well.
Right before we moved to OK, Kevin was the high councilman for the University Ward. He absolutely loved being there with all the students. I can understand how much you and Jon love it as well.
