May I say, I love these little characters, more than I can express! I watch them and think back.
I met their grandfather, got to know him and realized one day, I love this guy, in a way I have never felt experienced before. Then I gave birth to Mariah, got to know her, and realized, I love this little girl more than I thought was possible. And the wonderful discovery, it didn't take away from my feelings for Jon, they just grew even more.
Next came Rob, and I worried that I could never love another baby as much as I did Mariah. Again, my heart grew, my love grew and I had no worries, I loved him just as much, but it was different, because he was different.
After some disappointment and heartache, Sarah joined our little family. Once again, my heart grew, though it was another daughter, she was unique and I loved her for it. It was such a relief for her to make it safely and we were all so thrilled. I watched Mariah and Rob loving and fussing over her and loved them all the more, for the loving spirits they were showing me.
Next they brought a new son and daughter into our family and I love and appreciate them for who they are and the qualities they have brought to our family.
Now, as my children are bringing these choice little spirits to our family, my heart and love continues to grow as I watch them loving, teaching, and making sacrifices for the future of their posterity.
I just wish my long old arms were even longer, so that I could wrap them all up in a big hug, all at once. Lincoln looks like he should be between the girls, doesn't he? .... Did you notice Brianna's hand holding Tati? There was a lot of that going on that day!

My family is also my greatest joy! I love that last picture of the grandkids.
Did the disk come?? I love how the picture with the grandparents and grandkids turned out, the big kids cooperating...the 2/3 year olds being, well, 2/3...and Little Lincoln hanging on for dear life surrounded by by all the wild kids. I had hopes of getting all the cousins in a picture, but honestly had huge doubts about the feasibility of really pulling it off. I love that we managed to get one....and they were all looking the right way as a bonus!
Oh, this is actually Mariah....Stephen doesn't care about pictures and wouldn't have cared if the cousin picture happened. He just goes along for the ride and humors his wife in her picture endeavors. :)
Isn't it great that we are able to realize the blessings we have when we have them?
Your family pictures turned out great!! That's hard to do with such little ones. I loved the one with all the grandkids with thier grandparents.
I love how much you love and care for each of your grand babies! They are truly choice spirits!
