IT ! The big
IT . You would think after, what has it been . . . almost 33 years . . . . actually over that. We courted through a Christmas season and I made it very clear how I felt about
all aspects of Christmas! So by now he should know better.
Oh Sir, don't do that to me when I am already stressed . . . Emerald City did not thrill me when I had it done . . . now I have so many Christmas gifts to tackle . . .and my confidence is drooping so low right now.
Grinching around me can be dangerous to your physical, spiritual, mental and emotional well-being. But he did it anyway, he
GRINCHED ! OK not physical, unless you count the headache, churning tummy and blurred vision that develop wondering what I will do to you next . . . . heh, heh, heh! Let the fun begin!
He usually wears this cute tie that Mariah gave him because it reminded her of her dad so much. Hmmmm, I bet I can get her in on this, at least cheering me on . . . . "I don't wear Micky Mouse to church", he says. Now his little girl's heart is broken, she was on the phone to hear him. The tie has been worn and he wears ties NO where else except weddings and funerals, don't think he wore this one to those!
So I tried to get him to wear this one , , , it is tithing settlement after all. Wouldn't you think it would be pretty dad gummed fitting for this clerks and all the bishopric? Big old party pook! (not a typo, Linc's word for it :-} ) and yes I did say OLD not ole'
Didn't even get a chance to take this one out. I expect to see him do this on Christmas morning when he opens up his latest credit card statements with a "0" balance on them! And I want him to wear this the day after Christmas, to let the world know he finally has his wife "trained" . . . . or something.
So now I am looking for something for next Sunday. The loudest, most obnoxious Christmas tie for him to wear. If anyone has seen one in a store, keeping in mind that he is serving down at the university ward, so no X, R or even PG rated, please let me know where I can pick one up!!
Today he is getting a Bah Humbug bush ! I will threaten his assistant clerks if they let him remove it before he is done for the day!!
Sheeeee! The things that man puts me through, like I have time for this right now!

What is it with all these grown men bah-hum-bugging all over!!??!! Did we forget to tell them "IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU ANYMORE!" Hello!?! There are childhoods at stake here; childhood only lasts about 5 minutes...especially in the world we live in now. For Heaven's sake let the kids create fun memories of this time of year. If you can't bring yourself to allow that then quietly step back and allow the memories to be created by others...NOT tainted by bah-hum-bug behaviors in the background.
