So, Where's the Problem?

OK, I got rid of the rubber belly picture.  You do have to admit, it made a real statement!  That is just what I feel like these days!  Hence the new gadget on my side bar, anyone that wants to can cheer me on or chew me out, kindly and honestly, of course.

Gabriel started out our morning asking if he could say his “very own blessing”.  I came over to the table and sat down.  He smiled so sweetly and started the blessing.  The next thing I knew he was asking Heavenly Father to , “Bless Nanny that she won’t dwink too much soda”.  That got my attention!  Then I understood that very knowing little smile of his.  Gabriel is such a wild little boy, often deliberately being obnoxious, just to get a reaction. Then he shows this very interesting, little wise old man side of himself.  He seems to think things through so deeply.

Recently, he has noticed I am not drinking so much soda (which makes yous pillow big, you know, even the diet).   I started trying to wean myself off the caffeine very gradually that I wouldn’t get the headaches that stop my life in its tracks.  Then as I made progress, I decided that in this economy it was dumb to be wasting $$ on something s worthless as soft drinks at all.  Gabriel noticed, and asked why I wasn’t drinking the sodas.  I explained what I was doing, asked if that was a good thing to do and he said, “Yes Nanny, maybe your piwow will get wittower”.  It's so nice to be loved, in what ever strange way a kid can!

What a sweet heart to care enough about you to ask Heavenly Father to help you. I stoped drinking caffeine almost five years now. When I'm pregnant I don't drink it or when I nurse so it was easy with Payten, but with Kaitlen it was so hard.

Good luck, I know you can do it!!

I love the picture, I feel that way

I just got on to take the picture off. It really is kind of way out there, isn't it. But I know that is how I feel so much of the time, especially now with some weight back on and I got rid of my bigger sized clothes so that I have to keep it off, oops!

Dude that picture is scary! Made me stop and think for sure. I'v been thinking the same thing about my soda's. So I make sure I drink a large cup of water before I get one. I'm down to 2 can's a day but I really need to stop all together. I stopped for 5 years too but started up the year both girls got married...STRESS!

Man, that picture! That is so sad.
Maryn just made that committment at the beginning of the year too and is doing really good with it. Anytime we give up something it is hard, but worth it. I think it is soo sweet that he thought about you in his prayer. He knows where to go to get help for the hard things! That is awesome

so cute. My girls comments crack me up everyday. Since I have been losing weight they tell me that I am not as squishy. umm, I will take that as a compliment...
