Oops! Way More Fun Than a Poke In The Eye With a Sharp Stick!

I meant to save this as a draft . . . had to leave before it was finished  ;+O

Last week was quite a week in so many ways.  I got to spend time with two of the greatest sister-in-laws, just got aways for a few days . . .yes, of course i got home sick, but some time like that helps build a little more appreciation for being able to stay at home most of the time.

While in the valley, I received the news that a wonderful friend had passed away.  Though not a surprise, it was hard to take.  Then it was time to go and get a poked in the eye with a sharp "stick".

It was scary.  I have lived long enough to know that "it" doesn't always happen to the other guy.  I was so relieved and grateful when they took the bandage off the next morning and I could already see better than I have for many years.  Over the next three months my vision should continue to improve as my retina heals, so I am pretty excited to get back to business . . .  and maybe be able to sew straight again!  Who knows, I may even break out the power saws, etc. soon . . . .  So there Stephen!  I caught him telling Mariah, "forget the keys, we're going to have to take your mom's power tools away from her."  The nerve . .  I've never taken off more than 1/8 inch off of my fingers.

Anyway, today was so much more fun letting the girls dust the scary masks in the Monkey Room.  Lincoln agreed, when he got here!

We are glad you can see better. And those pics are cute. I love how much fun they are having cleaning something! :) They love to clean just about anything OTHER than their bedroom!

Hey Lady! Glad you are seeing better and that you have this "Little" part of your journey behind you! I know I need to call but I've been so tired and so busy since we got home that I haven't taken the time...I will I promise!
