You are the love of my life. Every time you walk in the door, my world feels lighter and brighter.
I love the way you take me in your arms and hold me.
I love the way you stroke my calves when they are tired, achy and swollen.
I love your hands, just strong enough, capable and yet gentle and tender when you cuddle the grand kids or the dogs . . . ;-? and hold them close for just an extra moment or two.
I love to wake up in the night and see you laying beside me . . . . even when you are snoring louder than I am.
I love to wake up in the middle of the night and just talk & talk with no interruptions.
I love to watch you stand in front of the fridge snooping through and sniffing all the left-overs
I hope that we have many, many long creaky years left for us.
But Jon, dear, dear sweet Jon . . . . if I catch you touching my new Calphalon Non-Stick skillets again . . . . . . I just might have to HURT YOU!!!
Your loving wife,
Sharron

Amen Sista!
Jon says: so stop boiling water in the cast iron!!
Silly Jon, thinks he can get the last word.
He just never learned to clean cast iron pans the right way. You have to boil just long enough to soften the food, brush it out, dry it and re-oil it before it cools to draw the oil in to the pores.
And he still better not touch my new pans!!
You tell him girlfriend!
