Lynneah Is Home!

We just had the pleasure of a short visit with all of the Maskeys at one time.  she looks good and so tiny and pink.  She is still a little olive, but her lips are a beautiful darker pink, a lot like Garrett's lips and her hands are the shade of light, light pink they should be.  Such a joy.  The boys are totally excited to have her home.

Just before they left a doctor came over to talk to them.  He mentioned that, "This is a miracle you know."  Doesn't it warm your heart to be with a man with so much skill who recognizes that?  I know it does mine.  It is not unusual for babies with this problem to spend 4-5 months in the NICU.  I guess there is even a little guy in the PICU that has been there for over a year.   Lynneah spent one week after her surgery.

And now with such an empty house . . . where do I begin?  Check the list or not check the list.  What the heqq, take a nap!

What wonderful news! I've found that the dr's and nurses in the NICU are some of the nicest people in the hospital. I'm so glad the experience was good in that respect. I'm so happy for all of you to have life return to "normal"! :D
