More Good News!

Today they did an ultrasound.  Our little lady has all of her parts, most in the right place even.   Liver, spleen, bladder, kidneys (which has been functioning rather well I hear), gall bladder and a couple of other organs, all present and accounted for.  They all look healthy and seem to be functioning as they should be.

All babies are such miracles.  This time of technology is such a miracle.  Lynneah is such a miracle.  My testimony of our loving and merciful Heavenly Father grows each day.  I feel so strongly that she was being protected even before she was born.

I spent several days in a place that has no feelings or emotions.  God answers prayers, I know that.  I also know that sometimes, in His wisdom, He says "no".  A selfish side of me didn't want to hear that right now.  Well, OK, I usually don't want to hear it, but I have thanked Him many times for saying it to me a few times in my life.  It saved me so much grief in the long run.  But I didn't want my children to ever experience the empty arms that I had to deal with.  I know those times could have been so much harder.  I did have two children to come home to who were real cuddlers.

Such a blessing and such a big responsibility for Stephen and & Mariah to raise not only their sons, but this daughter who was preserved until the time when doctors could help her and protected so that after they did all that they could, she would be left with a healthy body for the mortal period of her eternal life.  I know Mariah and probably Stephen are very aware that there is a reason for her life.

Thank you so much to all of the family, friends and even strangers who have had Lynneah and her family in their prayers.  It truly means so much to us.

Words can hardly express the joy felt at times like these, but your post expressed it very well. I'm so happy for all of you, especially Lynneah.

It is a special moment when we are allowed glimpses into the scope of the life-missions that await our little ones. They each come with so much potential, and special gifts that they seem to use almost right away. We are grateful that she is doing well and that everything is there and just about where it should be! Truly a blessing and a miracle.

Thanks for the update Sharron--still saying that "specific" prayer! :)
We are so grateful she is doing well and have had our hearts touched as well watching the miracle.
And we know they are grateful for you.
