You have heard of "Gentleman Farmers"? Well, I realized that I want to be a "Gentle Lady" gardener. I want to go out, prune dead leaves, fluff plants, take off wilted blooms, and congratulate myself on what a lovely garden I have. I want to turn on my lovely elevator music, read a good while swinging in a hammock, in the shade of course and sip on lemonade. . . . early in the morning while the birds are still singing in the trees.
One Problem: "Nut's Barely Farm" is a long way off from that. So I suppose I will continue to cut, dig, plant, plant and plant some more, trim hoses, push on connectors nick my fingers, ice my hands, feet and wrists until I achieve that little goal. Hope I get to enjoy some of this before I kick off!!!
