I'm Sharron Huish and I am a HGTV Junkie . . .

 . .  or at least I was until they decided to have non-stop House Hunters, International House Hunters, My First Place, and quit running the shows that showed some creativity.  That was my last reluctance to getting the TV cable cut off. I have learned so much watching those shows.

Important things like:

• How to make over a room for so little money
• That all cans of paint cost under $10 . .  I would love to know where they find that, even crummy paint costs more than that.
• All projects, no matter how big will only take two days to complete.
• No matter what house you look at or consider buying or renting, the kitchen and bathroom NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. . .  end of discussion.
• There is NO end of the ideas they can teach you to drive your sweet husband absolutely and totally out of his everlovin' mind . . . and it is so fun . . everyone should try it.
• All spaces should be romantic and sexy . . .even the out door "spaces" .  Would someone tell those pathetic citrus trees in my back yard?  Bsides, shat happened to warm, cozy and relaxing.
• IF you get any paint on you, it's a spot or two.
• Even "professionals" can come up with REALLY tacky ideas.
• Always dress like a fashion diva while you do your projects.
• You finally never admit that you have a full crew hiding in the bushes and that is really why you can get so much done in such a short time.

But now I have recovered, I don't ever watch it, unless I am over at Mariah's house,   I can also look on the internet if I just HAVE to have a little hit to get me by or to help get the creative juices going.
