Yesterday I found such a nice little surprise out back. My garden looked a little better. I think the shade cloth is going to help, thank goodness! What plants that were left, are looking a little less droopy and some are even sprouting some new leaves this morning. Even one of the pepper plants that was nothing but a little stick standing there. Phew!

I decided to tackle one of the jobs I have been dreading . . painting the shed. I rolled one side and knew I was in trouble. The siding was soaking so much paint that I knew I would run out of paint, so off to Home Depot I went. The tinted primer was such a neat color, I almost don't want to paint the top coat on it. I decided to be brave and try spraying it, what a wonderful toy we have had for years . . and I will NOT roll anymore!! Had it done in a couple of hours, that was two coats on everything, three on some parts and under the eaves. Sure hope I got the lines good and clean . . tomorrow it will be time to spray the top coat and also another coat on the back addition on the house . . then the painting will be DONE! Doesn't that sound lovely? I sure think so.
After I got done painting I took the most wonderful loooong hot shower, washed my hair by letting the purple shampoo soak on it to help it get back to white again, and just thoroughly enjoyed some relaxation to the whole experience. I went to pay for the haircut I got the day before . . Teresa looked a little funny at me for just the shortest moment . . . I didn't understand until I got home and looked into the mirror . . .Oops! And this was after I really scrubbed my face in the shower.
Lesson learned: Grease that face, arms, hands before you spray paint!!! Finally had to resort to acetone to get it off, that was lots of fun . . . not.
