When Ed was painting the house, I asked his opinion of how we were going to fill and create walls to make work yurt out of our car cover that Jon had just put the tin roof on. Yes that would work, he says, but I know where you could get a great shed for free.
So I looked into it. Jon & I decided that we would take it. Paid to have the power separated from it and the house it was sitting behind and then talked to the crane operator who could lift it to bring it over to our back yard.
Bad news 1-- He doesn't have truck or trailer big enough to haul the shed.
Bad news 2-- His crane wouldn't fit in when the outriggers are out, the yard is 2-4 feet too narrow.
I am a little worried just what this "free" shed is going to cost us in the long run!!
Of course it is giving me a little more time to think of how to make it so darned cute that I will be glad that it is in my back yard . . . . .shhhhhh, don't no one tell Jon I am plotting . . . again ;+ D
P.S. Poor grammar drives my crazy . . . when I say "don't no one" I am quoting something that Sarah did when she was a little girl.
Being the "baby" she got so much help in all that she did. She was getting just a little tired of it all. One day when it was her turn to say the blessing she started out in the sweetest little tiny voice,
"Heavenly Father . . . DON'T NO ONE HELP ME! . . . . thank you for the food."
I have wished so many times I had a video of it.Yes, she can still have that attitude, not always at the right time ;-)

That's a pretty funny story!
Good luck with the shed. We are looking at getting one for our backyard. Not a very big one...but big enough to keep all the yard type tools in it and allow us to have more room in the garage for other storage!" :) We'll remember the "FREE" part.
A guy I used to work with at Sundt always said "There is no such thing as a free lunch." I think back on that statement frequently. Just as your shed was free it will cost you in the long run. Good luck!
