Today Mariah got to pickup for both of us. It was a good day for my produce drawers in the fridge. Click HERE if you would like to see more information about Bountiful Baskets!
I also got a forty lb. box of Granny Smith apples for $ .35 a lb. next week will be the time to make apple sauce, apple pie filling and maybe apple butter. Homemade is the best!
We're finding kind of fun to save money and see what is coming next!
Tomorrow after church, I will share a really fun, busy weekend with you. Brianna had her "Farewell Concert" with her big kids. Amazing! Then we went down to St David and spent time with the University 1 Ward kids for part of their camp out . . . those funny, great kids never cease to amaze me!

The Bountiful Baskets pick-up yesterday was fun! The girls loved it and wanted to begin eating the yummy fruit right away. The pick-up spot on this side of town was in front of Udall Park. It was Saturday morning, so a lot of people were walking the track. On the way back to the car (carrying a laundry basket so full of produce it was almost to heavy to manage) a few people asked us about the produce sale. So I took a moment to tell them about it, and where the could go to learn more. We were told that the majority of the produce comes from Yuma and Phoenix, and people were happy to hear that it was AZ produce. :) Thanks for sharing this with us!
Good girl! This is how we become a community family by sharing and getting involved with others.
They do try to obtain as much local as possible for freshness and to avoid the price of shipping. The bread offerings are from a Phx bakery.
