So I am ready to start in on tonight's projects. Have the missing fabric and stuff . . . but the_)()#?<>$%@(&^% iron won't heat up.
I am so tired of stuff giving out. I really can't sew without an iron, I blame it on all those people who taught me to sew. You know the ones. The ones who think the inside should look as good as the outside of the item. The ones who teach you to do it RIGHT!!!
Really it's their fault. Now what. I really want to finish this stuff and not stuff it away out of the way where it will be swallowed up, for many weeks if not many months or years.
FOLLOW UP & CONFESSION . . . .
Well, the laugh's on me. I borrowed Mariah's iron and it didn't work either. Hmmmm, thought I checked it in a different outlet. Evidently I didn't. they both work in the outlet around the corner in the dining room. This is the iron that I bought for making Mariah's wedding dress and I don't ever want to change to something new. Love my little comfort zones & <:- D . Don't like most changes.
Nap time to try to recover froM last night and the back to the sewing!

That stinks! My mom burns out a beater once a year...and it usually gives out right before some holiday gathering and they have no choice but to go out and get another one...same thing with your situation...its one of those things you have to have to get the job done.
Worse case scenario...you can borrow mine! But hopefully you can find something sooner than that so you can get back on track.
Sorry!
Good luck!
ROFL Sorry I'm laughing because when I came in March to so you "Dissed" my iron and my crappy old iron still works. BUT I'm sorry yours broke-that really sucks-like you I can not sew without an iron- I had one of "those" home-ec teachers too!
"SO"???? Geez am I tired or what! I meant SEW!!!!
