This Makes It Worth All of "Those Calls"

Election Day was just a little bit of a nuisance  . . did I really say that? I didn't want to go anywhere and so I felt like that.  I never dreamed that I would feel like that about the privilege we have to help select our leaders.

I picked up Garbriel at school and then met Mariah and Stephen outside of polling location.  We decided that Gabriel should go in with me the way Garrett had gone in with his parents.  Just to set the record straight, that we and ours always vote if at all possible.

So in we went and Gabriel did an excellent job filling in my bubbles, very well.  He was so careful so that my votes would definitely be counted.  He would also double check before he started filling it in.

Love this little guy.  He feels so grown up now and often lets me know that he is doing something in particular because he is the oldest and needs to set the example.  Of course, there also the times that I get that "pound sand" look.  Life wouldn't be very interesting without the ups and downs now would it?
