Busy Random Days

Many little baby steps are going on these days.  Sarah moved over to a cute little town house and just left a little reminder for me to find.  How do those little dust feathers form anyway?  These were under where we had been storing her furniture in the corner of the family room.

What seemed like days and days . . . . I have emptied three of these but have one more to go.  Have I happened to mention just how much I detest mending?  There were a couple of finish projects mixed in that saved me!!

Now it is time to shorten some jeans and mend the rest . . .  maybe it is better to do the worst first?   Grrr, grimace, aaarrrggghhh!  Maybe some nice buttery popcorn will help me get through them?

Next Jon cut and installed a new floor in the cupboard under the sink.  Funny how nice something so unromantic and uninteresting can be such a thrill, isn't it?  But when this is the results, who can blame me?

Took all the dying tomato bushes and other sad stuff out of my sad little garden.  Should I store all the snazzy little rings or replant?  Hmmmm.  If you have never seen these little gizmos, they a great way to attach plants to the cages or  trellises.  Love 'em.!  Came from the 99 Only Store, for you guessed it, 99 cents!  easy on, easy lock and easy off.

Then I decided what the heqq, let's see what is under the left side of our vanity.  How about that, it was another sink.  What in the world do we need another one for?  Maybe it will come in handy.  Now, what to do with all of those treasures . . . what to do, what to do . . .  maybe a repeat of all the treasures that were under the kitchen sink?  Heh, heh, heh.  As little Linc would say . . ."Yeah!"  Can hardly wait!!!  Yeah!!!

Went to get some containers to store up so more foods in the closet and found "Tati was here".  Funny little doll, I find little things like this around the house all the time!

Now it is time to see if the buttermilk has turned for me.  Can't afford to my little buttermilk habit, can't stop cooking with it these days!!  Time for the budget stretchers . . .   I am so glad that I learned all of these funny little tricks years ago.

I am hungry for some really good bread and the sour dough starter should be down to room temperature . . . . YUM!!!   Need something going on while I sort!!

Well, the boys like to put things in those containers to ya know! But can you blame the little ones? In their minds, those containers are for all of their little treasures!!!

Love the bathroom picture. I've never seen the other sink; and to be honest, I had no idea it was there! How cool! We thought about getting two sinks in the kids bathroom...but I decided it meant there would be two to clean, and two sources of water for the kids! lol...so I put my foot down for just one.
