Time For Fun Stuff . . . Just For Me

Jackilyn just called me.  This would be the little slave driver (who is 4 inches taller than I am) that I had to send to Ohio just give myself a little breather.  Funny girl was checking up on me and making sure that I am still making progress.  So I told her all the stuff I am doing instead of clearing and culling right now.  Actually, as I am doing this stuff, I am able to send it on it's way.

When Sarah moved out soon after her mission, I trimmed a towel set to go with her curtains in the bedroom she was in with the bathroom attached.  I realized that another set would be good, so I bought all the stuff and just finished them.  It's only been almost 6 years, not bad, right?  Should have taken a pic, they're really quite pretty and very girly.  She still has the curtains and is in a master suite again, so it all goes well together again.

Then last night I changed the elastic in the waist line of the poodle skirts I made for the girls when Brianna did Grease with her school kids.  Dang they are cute!  Especially on the girls . . .   Tati's little skirt smells kind of like strawberries ;- )

Then there is the Yizard Sunday Bag.  The girls young aunt on the other side of the family is quite the little seamstress.  I am copying, more or less, Arianna's Sunday Bag for Tati.  Of course it will have orange and it will have Yizards, because she is so cute about my Yizard bathroom.

No more pics.  Time for zzz-z-z-zz-z.  Was up til 3:30 am this morning and I'm bushed!

It's 2:28 and I've been up for 40 minutes.  Jon and & "heard" something.  the beasties growling and after we listened, Jon had to go out and look around (I hate that!  Hello, stay inside!)  then realized we needed to powder our noses.  So now I am messing around on this silly thing waiting to see if I can do anything else since he hasn't packed . . ..  and his unders  are folded, in his drawer, waiting for him to rummage through and jumble everything?  Why do men do that?  Don't tell me there is a difference . . .  that's a woman who is supposed to be picky, right girls . . . . unless he is in touch with his feminine side/  Hmmm best be checking on that.

Good night again.

The girls are going to LOVE that they both have a Sunday bag. Tati has turned into quite the bag lady. She LOVES purses and bags. It is funny. I have to protect mine if I want them to stand a chance of me using it again.

And hopefully you won't be sad...but she can actually say Lizard now. We were sad that she could say it properly because it was so cute, and now she just seems that much older. My baby is way too grown up!
