This week end Jon decided to help me get the paint on the eaves where the rain gutters are going to be mounted . . . then took off for the south forty . . . to work all day. Funny guy, he thought that would appease me until next weekend . . . will he ever learn? I am on a
mission! I am through storing materials, I'm going to push and prod until these projects done . . . like
last week! So before he got home, I put the next coat of primer on, fill the crack around the corner (where the down spout will be) and it is almost ready to start the gutters! It's amazing how good just clean white looks, even when it's just primer.

I have a little bit of gravel left in the back of the "now mobile truck". I was trying to figure out where and how to store it for the next phase and decided, "what the heqq (I know, that isn't the normal way to spell that, it was just one of my mom's cute little things I grew up with. I love it, so "h e double q" is how it I still spell it!)" so this is what is going on now!
A two foot bed where I will plant dwarf version of something ever green and then a three foot gravel path. Ireally need to start getting in water drips, etc. but planting is time critical and I can always add the drips later after everything is growing. The pictures have shown me where I don't have the shape down yet, aren't digital cameras the handiest?

I was in walmart looking for the plastic tape for laying out the path and got the biggest kick from all the colors that duct tape comes in now. May I say, inspiring?!?!?

I love color! I am actually jealous that Sage gets to see all the colors that are in heaven!
Duct tape isn't just for men anymore! :)
