I keep planting seeds for starts, buying starts, and all that! I finally decided that they could go into the old flower beds in the front, since there have been no flowers for . . . I have no idea how long!
So I got some mulchy stuff, water retaining stuff, more plant starts, dug out the old splintery shovels, rake, cultivator, booze box for kneeling on and got to work!

So the questions are:
Can she maneuver the truck so she can just toss the gravel into the right spot? YES!
Does the old girl still have the stuff to move that kind of load (gravel)? YES!
How bad will it look, since I can't even shake a stick at the design
that Stephen drew up for her? Such a nice design . . . but that kind of money needs to go
into long term food production right now. Not too bad?!?!
You know, set a good example and all that stuff, since the calling IS cannery specialist and preparedness personoid.
Don't worry, the flowers will show up eventually . . . I learned lots from Grandpa Charlie!
