The spirit was with me, I was blessd and able to focus. I learned all that I needed in preparation to serve many in the northeastern part of AZ. Much of the knowledge and experience that I gained in those three years still enables me to serve. I am grateful for that time and that it still helps me help my family and others.
Now, years later, I am once again serving as the Cannery Specialist (I really wish they would come up with another word, not specialist, my little hang up). When Doug Williams issued the call to me, I was SO not excited! I know, shame on me, but all I could think was, I have so been there and done that. I am afraid that I took several months to get going. I finally got on my knees and asked for help to catch the spirit of my calling and a good kick in
progress is being made.
We went to the cannery yesterday with quite a good sized group and had a lot of fun. Dianna Stevens even brought her two grand daughters, who by the way, were excellent workers! There is always such a good spirit of camaraderie and friendship there. I have made some great little friendships that I now enjoy away from the cannery.

Looks like a fun day. Now I know why there were very few sisters at the Stake SOS project! I recognize Dolores.
HEY!!!! It is so fun to hear from you! ALSO - you have met my in-laws. They work at the Canary! I was looking at this post and I was like, "Shawn - there's your mom and dad!" His mom is in the top picture without the hat and apron and his dad is in the middle picture with the green stripped shirt.
Do you mind e-mailing those to me? That would be great! molly.broderick@gmail.com
Glad to see you are doing well - it is fun to keep up with Steven and Mariah too!
