Christmas In April

Every year we try to celebrate in April.  As many of us understand, the Savior was born in the spring, so that is when we try to stop and remember His birth.  It should be easier to really focus on Him without all the stuff that goes on in December, which of course this "Pagan" at heart loves as well.

We got together and had a really fun wild day. but it left me feeling a little empty.  The grand kids seem to be in overdrive whenever they get together, where ever it may be.   That is very loud, not surprising.  All the adults have lots to catch up on.  Not a word of why we had gathered passed a lip!  I didn't think about it all day, it just hit me after everyone had left.

Guess I should have been more prepared with a home evening lesson.  It would have benefited all of us, in more than one way.

WARNING TO MY CHILDREN!  Mama has a plan . . .

Thanks for reminding me, today is the day. I will think of Him all day long and express my gratitude for the lonely walk He took for me. Love you Sharron!

I was wondering why we didn't really do anything. lol. But hey, if you have a plan then we will just hang on tight and see what it is. (the girls are going to color those eggs tonight for FHE, and then I have a kid friendly version of the easter story to share with them...it should be fun.)

Families are forever. Those noisy, wild kids strengthened their forever bond. Although it did feel like they were little ants running around. Does Mama has a plan mean the same thing that, "Stephen, I been thinkin'"...means? The boys had a blast, and told me all about playing with their cousins.
