Home Evening is For Fun!

Last night Jon & I went over to the "Bears" (Rob & Brianna are the "teddy bears") for home evening and dinner. We needed a little girl fix, little and grown up. We saw lots of them before Rob left and Brianna started her new school year. I figured we would get too used to it and really miss all of them when schedules got too busy.

It was fun visiting while I cooked a simple supper, hearing all the house plans and what is coming up in Bri's school plans and the programs coming up. I think the students appreciate her and all her efforts. I would love to have had a teacher in music like her when I was in high school.

The little girls had LOTS of fun with Papa. He makes a way good bucking bronco . . the tired ole broken down kind {: ]. Poor guy took quite a pummeling, but the girls sure loved it and he loved that they loved it. He said he wasn't sore this morning, so I guess it wasn't too bad. I felt sorry for the downstairs neighbors. I sure wish I had taken the camera!

Home evening lesson lasted . . oh . . maybe three minutes. Par for the course. I am glad that we an still see all of our kids and grandkids. We are blessed and lucky!

Thanks for coming last night. It was nice to see the girls so happy to see their Papa. They are really missing daddy when nightime rolls around, so seeing them happy before bedtime was a nice change of pace. :)
