Poor Jon has been whittling away at getting the platform ready, with my help, and then get it "leveled" with the front lower to shed rain, and get it installed on the floor so that we could start unloading some of the stuff in our living room. I had definite ideas how I wanted it done and he has agreed, thank goodness. Poor guy is going into a little bit of shock as he has realized that spending too much time running things on my own has created a "monster". I have opinions that would never have occurred to me when we got married. I have also figured out lots of easier ways to do things and he thinks I'm nuts until he tries them.
I think we are finally about ready to start filling it. I was pleased to realize that it would hold more than I originally thought.
Between conference sessions, he went out to finish up and Gabriel, who has been with us since he got out of school yesterday at 2:00 pm, went out to help Papa. He dragged an old tow chain all around making some great paths, piled stuff up on "the hill" and just helped a whole bunch, by staying out of the way. Papa was pretty relieved!

Oh what fun! Kevin was trying to put a ceiling fan up between conference sessions. Now all we have is a huge mess! He had to go through the attic and cut through sheetrock, etc.
I thought the first session on Saturday was outstanding! I think I am going to buy the conference talks on CD and play them in my car so I can let those prophetic words be etched in my mind.
I am a bad girl most conferences and tape them so that I can start listening again the day after it is over. then when they come out in the distribution center, I order both the dvd and cd versions. Guess I am a slow learner!
I love more storage space. I don't think you can have enough of it! When we bought this house, I thought we'd never fill it up. Now we're busting at the seams! :)
