Happy Mother's Day

I just wanted to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all of those women, daughters (all kinds), sisters (all kinds), friends (all kinds), "enemies" (maybe that is a slight exaggeration), and all others who have taught me in this life.

  • Some by their example, both good and perhaps not so good.
  • Some by their strengths, others by their weaknesses.
  • Some by their presence, others by their absence.
  • Some by their acceptance, others by their rejection.
  • Some who just are, and others who just aren't.
There is always an opportunity to learn from others.  By opening one's eyes the world can be viewed, lessons learned, an appreciation developed and love grow for the wonderful varieties around us.

Maybe this will make some sense to some of you, and pure nonsense to others.  Probably depend a lot on your age, and station in life.  I just know that I have been sitting or laying around, all from the inside looking out and missing the outside world.

My time to rest and recover is over, tomorrow will bring another busy week.  I have squeezed out every moment possible to get back on my feet.  I have to thank an understanding husband and children who have allowed me to heal and prepare for the busy end of the year they are all experiencing.

Am I one lucky gal or what,  I am needed and can contribute.  What more can a girl ask for?

So does that mean you are feeling better? I hope so--don't over do it and have a relapse!
