Summer is Here . . . What's a Soul to Do?

I love animals.  They fill out your life.  They touch your heart in ways that only they can.  They teach us how to love unconditionally.  They teach us to be kind and patient with the handicapped . .  oh, I guess that is just my dogs.  Anyway, I know, not think, know that there is a special place in Heaven for them.

As summer has crept up on us, I have been dreading the interminable, suffocating, breathless heat that will soon be upon us.  I received the cutest email that gave me hope.  It's simple, it's cheap and it's do-able.

Australia was suffering from 120 degree weather.  the Koalas were got so desperate for shade and water that they seemed to lose all shyness.

A home owner found this little critter hiding in the shade and offered it water.  It truly appreciated the potential of that little basin of cool moisture!

Splish, Splash,  I was taking a bath . . . . !

Anyone got an extra tub laying around?!?!?!

How cute are those pictures!!! Koala's one one of my top favorite animals...I've loved them since I was a little girl!!! Cool water is definitely helpful now that this heat is on its way!
