MIRACLES & TENDER MERCIES

Today I have been sewing. sewing, sewing and will be sewing more into the night.  I am so grateful for the miracles of modern day medicine.

I have been able to tread needles on the first try, repeatedly.  Even a # 8 in the machine with pretty poor light.  So you know how small that little tiny beggars are?  TINY and the eye is even smaller!  I have been sewing some little googlies for Girl's Camp this summer, had time to shoot the breeze (visit) with a fun friend that I met my first year living here and had the fun of just serving these fun little sisters at church.  Many of them have no idea who I  even am since I usually go to the University Ward.

Now just for fun, I am going to go and mend, underwear, of all things.  I'm even excited about that.  One more box emptied and one more project  finished   . . . . off my plate  . . . . out of my mind . . .  oops, was that a confession?

Hope all of you have a great evening, I sure am . . . . because after the mending is done, I am working on some fun stuff!

Oh I'm so glad your eyes are so much improved! That is good news...makes me feel guilty that I can see and don't want to sew...wasting my talents I tell ya!
