I figure every day should start with a big ole' DUH! That way it can only go up, right? I have been trying to find a vent cover to cover a hole in the wall of the dining room. I just found this buried in Sarah's old room . . . buried in all the stuff in there, since it is more of a storage room these days. It fits perfectly, has paint that matches the wall. However, I will probably remove the paint since the rest in the room are white ;- ) For the life of me, I can't remember it being around! DUH!
Next I went into the "Monkey Room" to clean up all the stuff that we pulled out from under the bed when we pushed it back up into a couch.
Good news. The books won over the movies, 12 ( been read many, many times) to 5 (each watched only once). And one sleepy little dog, (there's a big surprise, not).
When I fed him, I thought, "No problem". Ha! That little stink is trying to be picky! Ha! I rolled the fried potato dices in catsup, ground up a banana and added it to the baby food with some baby cereal add a little apple juice concentrate. Added a chopped up hot dog ( I know, weird, I forgot to save him some omelet when I made our breakfast) and wahla! I have found that he wants variety, so variety he gets.
Now that he was fueled up, it was time to get into each and everything that a little boy might need, and then some! He got the top drawer opened, but couldn't reach anything in it, thank goodness! So he moved down one and hit the jackpot! Well, after he recovered from being taken away from those drawers and I had put the yard stick he was off to those adventures.
Next thing I knew, the little scamp was into another cupboard!
It is said that, "All is well that ends well". The morning did indeed end well making this ole Nanny a pretty happy gal . . . dirty face, bruises, scabs and all! What a face!

They sure do work hard to get into things at that age...and the next thing you know, you are staring into their sweet faces while them peacefully sleep and all is forgiven! It's so cute to see him walking all around now!
That boy is a cutie when he sleeps...you all five minutes of it. :-) Poor kid kept waking up last night, don't know what's wrong with him.
