Then it was time to get some of those pathetic flowers into some pots. I am having fun make up color schemes for different clusters. Bet the neighbors would love for me to get this little project done.
Time to remove the veins on some pickled jalapenos so it would give my salsa just a little "kick". I am ready for some more interesting salsa but not ulcers ;-D
Finally it was time for lunch.. I had eaten breakfast before 6:00 am, so I was ready! I took out some artichokes that I had steamed a few days ago, some of my Low-Fat Butter Sauce and the rest of the Broccoli Stem Salad. Jon requested that I not make that for dinner last week, so I felt safe with not saving any for him. Add a tall glass of nice icy lemon water and I was a happy camper.
When I had finished lunch, it was time to take out the thermos I set to making buttermilk last night, low fat, of course. I added rennet and put it back in the corner of the counter again. The rennet helps it set up firmer than just draining it this way. After I did this, I realized that I should have taken some out for baking & cooking with. I can't keep the stuff around these days! Those chips and salsa you see are just quality control on the salsa project.
Then it was time to make bread . . . again. I've been trying to make it with the machine clear to the end. I just can't tell when the dough is right without handling it. Today, I remembered why I love to knead bread. It turns out better and you feel higher sense of accomplishment.
So now if you are duly impressed (what does that mean, "duly impressed"? It just came out and sounded cool) It is time to go and check my pearls and make sure they are hanging straight. Hmm, maybe that was June Cleaver, not Moll E. Mormon.
The soup and cheese toast were so yummy. So was the steamed broccoli with my favorite butter sauce. I have been so good today, I need to hold on for just a couple of hours . . . .I will hold on . . . . I will hold on . . .

You are amazing!
WOW - way to be productive. Did you type Moll E. to not offend me? haha - j/k.....it was really bad when I dated a Peter for a while. We were Molly Mormon and Peter Priesthood. :)
Holy crazy woman! Sounds like a full day!
Wow--now that is what I call impressive. Way to go! You must have slept well after all that.
