ZOO TIME With the Kiddies

Not too bad for restless kids.  we had a choice, get Linc looking at the camera or have Tati in it.  She has been a little stinker where cameras are concerned for a long time.  We have often had one person try to get her to look at them while another person sneaks a picture . .  wonder when she will figure us out.  I thought she would have by now.  She is a  pretty sharp little cookie usually

The girls with their Aunts Shantell and Briggita.  Shantell is really a sweetheart and quite patient when the girls' big boy cousins join them . .  . it does turn any outing on its ear!  Poor Brigitta just seems a little bewildered by them at times.

Gabriel  does love to show everyone why he is "Monkey Boy"  I have lots of pictures with him hanging and/or swinging.

Arianna doing her monkey.  She is so funny.  Lately she loves to show that to me over and over whenever we see each other.

Daddy stepping in to get Tati to look up.  There really is a special something between these two.  She is a daddy's girl in many ways but also loves to give him a run for his money.  I don't know where she got that strong will . .  couldn't be from this side of the family . .  .  HA!

Only Daddy could ever get by with this one!  She had a good time up there!

This was a scary one to take.  Papa didn't move from his assigned spot, thank goodness!  Lincoln was OK with Papa being so close by.

I learned a lot on this trip to our great little zoo.  The otters are still the most entertaining.  Some of the tortoises like to play "leap frog".  Never take a two seated stroller, take multiple single ones.  Papa is harder to keep up with than the kids.  Papa is learning to be a great sport when he ignores stuff he feels he should be doing so that he can spend time with the grandkids.

I love my kids so much.  I love my grandkids so much as well.  I thank Heavenly Father every day that I can be near enough to them to see them all and stay in touch.    With all the technology in the world to "reach out and touch someone", is there anything as wonderful as being able to wrap your arms around them once in a while and giving them a big old squeeze?  My children-in-law have some adjusting to do when they join our family because we are such huggers.  Jon & I thank them for being good sports!

I love the zoo! And as I've gotten older I've learned to love hugs...but maybe not as much as the zoo.

I love the zoo, and Tati is already anxious to go back!!! But we had a lot of fun. I'm glad you could join in the fun as well!

I want to be in your family! I love the picture of Gabe, Garrett and Lincoln on the elephant. I have been to a lot of zoos, but there is just something wonderful about the Reid Park Zoo.
