So when my grand kids started to ask for overnighters, I let them sleep in our bed. Since the boys live just around the corner, they come over more often. After getting a little tired of being taken out by the third round each time, I instituted the "camping bed". It's one of those mats the fold into thirds and crib sheets fit two thirds of it. this idea also came from Bob's house. Next was the monkey Room bed. Some how it has lost its appeal.
A couple of weeks ago when the girl's came over, they were good sports and agreed to sleeping in the Monkey Room. I folded out the futon and we climbed . . . . . oh yeah, part of the deal was that I would sleep in between them. After a couple of hours of Arianna's leg over the top of my middle, arm across my chest and Tati's arm across my neck, I decided to sneak out and sleep on the family room couch. When I moved a little both girls pushed down with their arms. It wasn't too bad except that my head was turned toward Tati and her arm was pushing on my carotid artery. When I straightened my neck, she had my windpipe. Not any better. I hung in there and finally got to the FR couch, aahhhh!
Last night was Garrett's turn. He insisted on sleeping in my bed . . . . let's just say, Nanny is taking a nap some time today! Gabe's turn is tonight : -\
Love this innocent face ? This was about 1:30 am.
Taken right after he punch my lights out (literally) with that right jab !
This was about 3:15 am. Soon he opened his eyes, saw Daisy right there, snuggling up to him. he was so happy, he was wide awake and never went back to sleep.

That would be why we have the hard and fast rule of no kids in bed. They're crazy when they sleep! And, I don't know if our bed could handle two of us thrashing all night. :)
Yes, sounds like you need some sleep!!!
