Years ago, while living in Holbrook, we had no idea that our future daughter-in-law was growing up . .. . just "around the corner". We had to laugh when we got to know her a little better and found that out. For years Jon had been watching the young people marrying in that little town and telling the kids, "when you grow up you should move away from here and search the bigger ponds for someone to marry. Don't restrict your selves to this little pond".
So we moved to Tucson, very soon after that the Pettys moved to Tucson, the kids grew up and went to the institute, Rob met the little girl from Holbrook, and the rest is history!
We love Brianna like a daughter. She has added many new dimensions to our little family and we appreciate that. We understand what Grandma Jeanne meant when she was so thrilled by having her family grow through marriages. Marriage brings you more children to become acquainted with, then learn to love. Though they bring a more completeness to your family on their own, it is fun when they help bring grandchildren to your family as well.
So in a nut shell, we love our daughter Brianna and want to wish her a
HAPPY BIRTHDAY !
This was a special day in our family,
we just didn't know it until 7 years ago !

Happy Bithday Brianna! I feel the same way about the spouses of my married children...I love them so much and am very grateful for what they bring to the family.
