It's the Little Things . . . . . . . and The Big!

"They say that it is the little things that make a good life, good marriage, good friendships."  I  totally concur.  But while we are on that subject . . . . . .

This week my kitchen went from this . . . . . .

To this, for several days . . . . . . .

. . . . and then Jon came home, to the rescue and we (he) got it to this . . . .

 . . . . . and to this  . . . . . . . .had to get a shot of that beautiful shiny before I cooked much.  It won't last long!

. . . . .  and so, I have no problem with this!  My Super Hero enjoying a well deserved rest . . . in what seems to be his favorite room  = -D . . . with our two little tranquilizers . . . . .  and are now to my left . . . .  tranquilizing me . . .

I do get a little sad when anytime we do some improvement, it makes what is left all the shabbier . . .   Oh well, baby steps!

I baked for a bout three hours last night, OH WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!  I have dreamed of having this changed out every summer.  I couldn't  believe the difference it made.

And so, I declare this a Big Thing, making life a little easier and nicer for me, really counts.  I will have a warm little glow in my heart every time I turn it on, can see better with those lovely bright lights, hi or low and turn on that fan, hi or low (you really can't hear it on low) and watch the steam streaming out of my way!

Thanks Jon, for getting up early and getting this done for me . . . . hope I can make worth your time  by baking and cooking for you the rest of the summer!

Sharron I love and look forward to every single comment that you leave for me! You give me strength and hope for a better day. I do the same thing...I can feel Satan just creep in and I yell at him to go back where he came from! Thank you for everything! I love you dearly.

Little things can make such a difference. We've worked on our house a little at a time, too. There's still tons I'd like to do but ...baby steps. It'll be like we want it someday, hopefully! Your hood looks so nice. Enjoy!
