Liz was surprised that I am blogging so much. I also get lots of comments, "I don't have time to blog". This is why I do have the time. My "Big Fat Foot"!
I did a lot of soft tissue damage to my right foot a few years ago. Right after I gave myself two stress fractures in the second and third toes, which were a result of plantar facetious in the left foot . . . . did you follow that one? Anyway, this is what it looks like after only three hours of Bountiful Baskets.
Now it is time to put it back up where the cold air can blow over it and help the swelling go down. I used to hate my bony feet covered with veins. That has become one of my fondest goals in life, with some nice wrinkles thrown in. Pathetic, isn't it?
So please understand that I'm not really lazy, just kind of, and I have a little hang up with having numb toes that feel like ants are biting them, which is what I get with too much swelling for too long.
And now that the cold air and elevating have worked their magic, since I didn't wait for too long, I need to get back at it!!! Don't know what "it" is, but I will get back at "it"!

Oh geez Lady I never meant to imply you were lazy. I was thinking that my life is so hum drum that I can't even think of anything to blog... LOL. Now that foot looks awful! So you rest, kick back, put your feet up and let that cool air blow over the top of your foot!
I had plantar Fasci---um yea that word I don't feel like spelling. Anyway shots in my heels and some orthotics and I was good to go! I am grateful I didn't suffer to the extent that you have! So rest!
I check your blog all the time! Sorry I never comment. I think I like the honesty and humor in the way you write...well, that is what I always liked about you and Mariah when we lived there too!
Hey, I sprained my ankle working in your "corner" on Wednesday. I ignored it a few days, but when Rob saw it Friday, he said it was definitely a problem and that I needed to keep it wrapped at least. Sheesh!!! It happened when I was moving a box of wheat and slipped on those colored foil pouches you had set on the floor (that I couldn't see cause I was carrying a box...lol). Oh well. Such is life. As I put my foot up, I will think of you!!! :)
