MEN ! ! ! ! ! !

Yesterday I decided to make a treat for lunch.  While breakfast was cooking.  I took out the lettuce,   went through it all, made sure I had the best head to crisp until later, Chopped, chopped, chopped, chopped some more and had it all ready for when Jon decided that he was about ready for lunch.


So when he came and asked what lunch plans were, I told him give me ten minutes and went to work.  May I say, YUM!  I will put home made Lettuce Wraps up against P,F, Changs lettuce wraps any day!

I saw Jon struggling to keep the filling in the lettuce leaves (romaine) and muttering.  Next he came in a asked if there was already rice in the filling, yes there was, so he piled some more rice on his plate, dumped filling on it, grabbed a fork and went to town!  Caught!


He can be such a good sport . . . . when I took his picture and teased him, he went and got  some leaves and started chomping on them, right in my face.  After all, this isn't exactly immoral or illegal, but come on . . .  no lettuce leaves . .  and when I am trying to use up fresh produce before it goes bad?


One guess what I had for breakfast and the rest of the lettuce will be eaten  today as one big ole mama salad!  Whatever it takes!
That will have me down to just the heads that we got from BB on Saturday  :+ D
