I just came in to the family room to find the TV droning away (sadly not unusual) and saw a really dumb show called "Wipe Out" playing. I have a question,
Last night we were watching some AFV for awhile. That actually is what made me start thinking about this. I just don't see any humor in people, especially "adults" doing very stupid pranks that are so dangerous and wanting it to be recorded . . for what . . to inspire their posterity? Give me a break! Most of those aren't even trying to get money, they are just showing off. I do suspect a lot of them are a little if not very tipsy . . OK . . drunk . . . at the time, but still, why?
I have also seen ads and the start of some shows that are all about destroying cars, houses, or anything else they can think of, just for the sake of . . . . . . . I have no idea. What has this world come to? Why would anyone want to waste stuff that way and why would they deliberately put themselves in harms way to just . . . again, I have no idea why. What are they proving?
Maybe this is part of my actively culling out anything in my home and now my surroundings that would teach principles or values that would be contradictory to what the Lord would have us live like and teach our children, grand children or any one else under our stewardship.
I f anyone can explain this phenomenon, please, enlighten me.

You are fiesty today! lol. Nope...I can't explain it either. It has never made any sense to me. But I will admit that I have seen some funny stuff on AFV! I haven't watched it since I was a kid though.
