Testing a Grandmother's Love

Lincoln went home to his mama today.  Sounds like I had thoroughly spoiled the little guy.  Not on purpose you understand, it's just that when you are sick and you are watching a sick little one, holding, snuggling and rocking them is the easiest way to keep up with where they are and what they are doing, especially when they start feeling better before you do.   I thought I would enjoy a good night's sleep tonight in my own bed, but that ended up being where Garrett wanted to sleep tonight, so maybe not after all.  Unless I decide I am in the mood to be kicked, punched and pummeled for several hours.
I usually let the kids pick three storied for me to read when they have an over-nighter.  Garrett could keep me reading for hours if my voice would hold out for that long.  But tonight, this is all it took!  Very cute story that the last generation really liked as well.

But first  I decided to test my grandmotherly love by playing this game with him, twice.  If you have never played it, turn the volume all the way UP to get the true effect!!

GARRETT   and the BED BUG GAME

How about that, only one dollar years ago to have a nervous break down now.  What  a deal!  You should see the grown kids run when it comes out!  They will all be happy to hear that the Lucky Duck game, which of course clucked like crazy, has gone the way of all broken games.  Garrett got to play with this one in the Monkey room with the doors closed after this.

He was a big helper checking out games so that I could toss the ones that were not working anymore!
