I do not want my picture taken . . . . . .
Oh, OK. No problem honey . . . .
(Don't you love a good flash suppressor?)
OK, Everyone smile . . . I would put all the different versions of the many grimaces on here, but you have all seen all of them before . . . We took the little fence down that morning just for the pictures. Boy do almost two year olds love all that pretty sparkly stuff . . and so do 4-year olds . . . sigh . . .
Gotta get the girl cousin picture. It will mean so much to Lynneah someday. To tell you the truth, she had about had it being all "snuggled" in that stocking by this time!
I might have been the only one who got the smile that day!
Aren't I so nice, I actually said his name to wake him up for this picture. That would explain the slightly glazed look over his poor tired eyes. His explanation: I'm just bonding with my dog.
Why is it that boys always get such cool stuff? I used to get so jealous, and let me assure you, I was NEVER deprived!
Now this had to be the biggest surprise that day . . . Papa got down on the floor and offered to give horsey rides. Not sure he meant all at once however . . . . snicker . . . . that'll teach the poor guy! He survived pretty well, considering .
Isn't it kind of a bad little joke on us, that when we have the time to enjoy the little ankle biters in our lives, we aren't exactly up to it?
HAHAHAHAHA . . . not . . . laughing!
So here we are, the "holidays" over and life seems to be a little flat. Know what I mean? The kids
were going to bless Lynneah tomorrow but too many grandparents can not make it and so it will be next month. So I slowed down on her dress, in my sorting all the Christmas stuff (thanks to Sarah it has all been gone through), with my reading (President Monson's biography) and just slowed down in general. Isn't that bad timing though? Here it is a new year and the time to set new goals,
With all the weather changes we have been enjoying, I've had a sinus attack royale so it has been necessary to pace myself, but I have been blessed to be able to keep going, so now is not the time to slow the pace. Now is the time to keep moving forward and keep making progress. Perhaps, to assess where I am, which direction the I am moving in, and is the plan He has for me is being followed.
So slow down I may, but only to make sure is all is well, all is well.

Fun pictures, fun memories. Slowing down is important from time to time. It allows us to reflect, evaluate, and make better plans for the future. I have been so busy the last 2 weeks that last night us girls just made some soup, ate it, and then went to bed. Of course, the bed came at about 10pm, after I had spent 2 hours on my church calling. hehe. Oh well, I tried to slow down. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
